We have thoroughly enjoyed working with McCann Realty. Two decades ago Cheri McCann helped us find our first home and 4 years later she helped us sell it as well. On both occasions, she was an accomplished negotiator and helped us to get the best price possible. Fast forward to this spring (2025) when we were looking for a condo in Toronto. We didn’t hesitate to contact McCann Realty again and this time, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Kaitlin McCann, Cheri’s daughter. She was just as organized, skilled, personable, and committed as her mother. Kaitlin was quick to respond to our questions and we really appreciated her excellent communication skills. Not only did we benefit from her extensive knowledge of the realty market, we also gained many valuable contacts that helped us with the moving process. I WOULD GIVE THEM A BILLION STARS!!!!!!!!!! I met Cheri McCann in about 1995 when I was selling a house with my now ex-husband. She was presenting 1 of the 7 offers, and even though we only met briefly, I always remembered her warm and kind disposition and professionalism. Since that time I have always lived in the Avenue Road and Lawrence area. I bought a townhouse about 12 years ago when I got divorced. I have noticed many of her signs on houses over the years and was so pleased when I saw she opened her own brokerage a number of years ago. I remarried several years ago and am about to be an empty nester and was looking to sell my home and downsize, I always knew when I was ready to sell my townhouse Cheri McCann would be my first call. Probably one of the smartest decisions I’ve ever made! Not only is Cheri a hands-on agent who always, and I mean ALWAYS, goes over and above what you would expect in an agent; she has given me unbelievably amazing advice in terms of what to list my house at and what to offer when I was purchasing. Her knowledge of real estate is impeccable. Not only did she decide to increase my sale price just before my list date because of what SHE SAW happening in the market, but she exceeded the asking price; making my sale far above ANY sale price in the entire history of my street!! When I was buying my new house I was up against quite a few other offers and was worried I should increase my offer price. Cheri advised me not to, and sure enough listening to her advice paid off as my offer was accepted, again, Cheri saved me thousands of dollars. I cannot fail to mention that the McCann Realty Group has quite a few McCann family members in it. Cheri’s husband Jeff helped out so much in the sale of my house as well. Even went so far as to drive over equipment that I needed quickly so I wouldn’t have to go buy new right away. Katlin McCann, Cheri’s daughter, is a fabulous Stager. She worked tirelessly to make my house look exquisite, has fabulous taste, really understands scale which surely greatly contributed to my bottom line. The McCann Realty Group is unbelievable. I do need to mention just how much advice they gave me from everything to lawyers, contractors, painters...you name it, anything to do with buying or selling a house; they have great people on their team that work for great prices, are highly professional and get the job done quickly. Buying and selling a house can be a very stressful experience, but Cheri’s reassuring, calm, thoughtful and professional manner helped make the process so much easier.
